Las dos Fridas, 2003- Panel 3.

Description:
In 2002-2003, Artemio Rodriguez reinterpreted an original 1939 painting by Frida Kahlo that was entitled, "Las dos Fridas." This painting was completed shortly after her divorce with Diego Rivera. This portrait shows Frida's two different personalities. One is the traditional Frida in Tehuana costume, with a broken heart, sitting next to an independent, modern-dressed Frida.
