Oleksandr Didur, 32, (middle) marine and defender of Mariupol, performs physical therapy exercises at the Adonis Medical Center in Bucha, Kyiv region, Ukraine on September 27, 2023. Oleksandr served in the army since 2015 and was fighting in Mariupol as part of the Mykolaiv 36th Separate Marine Brigade suffered severe injuries in Mariupol in April 2022 on the battlefield and then was held in captivity for almost fifteen months and was released in July 2023. He is going through a process of rehabilitation during a week at the Adonis medical center and weekends he spends with his wife and their two children.
