- On November 17, 2018, the mortal remains of Mapuche Weichafe- Camilo Catrillanca Marín were led to rest. His murder was not first in the line of violent killings of many Mapuche activists in Chile. This photograph is in the series of ten photographs that depict the burial ceremony. In this photo, we see an unnamed Mapuche horse-rider looking at the assembled Mapuche horsemen that attended the funeral. The photos for this virtual exhibition were provided by Chilean photographer- Luis Hidalgo. His Linkedin profile provides the following description, "Luis Hidalgo (Chile, 1973) is an award-winning photographer based in Santiago, Chile. He studied photography at Arcos Professional Institute."
