The Caribbean and Central America

I have separated Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central America as separate subsections in this virtual exhibition. I have also created a subsection for Memín Pinguín. While these are all interconnected geographic spaces, the separation will allow me as a curator to highlight specific works that express the black experience in each region separately. The history of Black people in the Caribbean is nuanced and vast. In this exhibition, we had to include only the snippet of this complicated history due to the lack of space in the Moffitt gallery.
