Premio América Bobia, 2014. Has white paper label on verso of title page: Jurado Israel Dominguez, Hugo Hodelin Santana, Gladys Mederos. Part of a collection of handmade chapbooks, many with cords for hanging (literatura de cordel), published by Ediciones Vigía under the auspices of the Cuban Ministry of Culture. Black art-paper covers have bold uppercase-letter cutouts in black, white and brown on front and back, spelling out title, author and publication information; mounted wooden appliqués include the Vigía flame on back; some gold-painted highlights. Spine is wrapped in corrugated cardboard with mounted torn shapes of black art paper sewn through in an X pattern with waxed binder's thread. Preliminaries, illustrations and colophon reproduced on brown and natural-colored craft papers. Poem printed on white paper. Illustrations -- crowds of outlined human figures with arms outstretched, resembling trees in a forest -- reproduced in black on mounted white and brown craft papers. "Consta de doscientos ejemplares manufacturados e iluminados a mano por las Ediciones Vigía. Para su realización fueron usados hilos de yute, cartón acanalado, acrílico, madera, papeles blanco y kraft de diferentes texturas y gramajes"--Colophon.
