Artist book and small press edition of a poem by Octavio Paz in handmade casing by Ediciones Vigía with a twig, a rock, a coin, twine, newspaper crumpled to resemble a rose, paper collage elements, netting. Poem printed on long sheet (several sheets tipped together to make a single long accordion fold with live edges) and tipped to inside center panel of folded triptych cover made of recycled cardboard. Rock and rose elements reappear as photocopied collage elements, as does a drawing of the poet's likeness. Vigía lantern on rear center panel of cover. Twine closure.

Artist book and small press edition of 3 poems by exiled poet Gastón Baquero; with partly handcolored collages and 1 pop-up element, drawings of bricks that look like books on endpapers, a door that opens to reveal the poet, half moons, arcs, etc.; textured paperboard covers with mounted color collages; the Vigía lantern is on back cover and colophon with its flame reflected by the lit candles hovering above the books/bricks in defiance of the poet's fear. Issued in portfolio in the shape of a house with tiled roof and balcony which both fold back to allow opening the panels and reveal the artist's book in pocket. Another Vigía lantern plus publishing information is on back of portfolio.

Handwritten text signed 'Eliseo Abreu' folded and inserted in pocket on page [3], reinforced with mounted cardboard illustrations, equppied with pull string.

Cut-out images on the front cover, including a banner advertising the original pharmacy; cut-outs of the Vigía lantern as a 19th-century gaslight and a banner bearing the series title on the back cover. A tongue depressor, mounted to the inside back cover, bears the copy number.
