"This publication is a record of our work with residents and a team of collaborators, together with Marcos Rosa, an architect who proposes actions together with residents, in order to meet their needs, offering technical support and discussing with them ways of supply them. After seeing the place, in which the residents pointed out the problems they faced on a daily basis, Marcos led the conversation, presenting them with ways to resolve difficulties and the actions were prioritized. A schedule was established, dividing them activities among the residents. A list of materials needed to start the improvements was made. In a collective effort, the residents organized themselves to complete each stage."
