- Antonio García Cubas was Mexico’s most recognized cartographer in the nineteenth century. His Atlas, produced through a printing process known as chromolithography, draws on Mexico’s rich history as well as its diversity of peoples, terrains, and flora to illustrate individual maps of the country.
