Art for the Asking: 60 Years of the Graphic Arts Loan Collection

Highlights from the Collection

These prints are a mix of non-circulating and circulating prints that highlight the Graphic Arts Loan Collection's (GALC) past and present. The non-circulating prints have not been shown to the public in 20 years, but these prints by artists such as Ben Shahn and Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec were once very popular among UC Berkeley students and graced many a student’s dorm room. The circulating prints presented here by artists such as Patricia Tobacco Forrester, Frank Eckmair, and Ruth Morgan represent the range of styles and types of prints available to UC Berkeley students now. These prints are usually the first ones to circulate each year.
