Recent Acquisitions

In recent years, The Morrison Library has concentrated its efforts on preserving the existing collection, using the Graphic Arts Loan Collection (GALC) endowment funds to repair and maintain the prints. While the Morrison Library has not been purchasing new prints, the collection has continued to grow through generous gifts from donors. These donors themselves were once students at UC Berkeley who enjoyed and used the GALC. The prints exhibited here are gifts from Amy Sandback, Ben and Frances Burr, and Ellen Meltzer and Jane Fowler. Starting in 2019, GALC endowment funds will again be used for the purchase of new prints for the collection each year.
